Social Media Week, Lagos. Day 4: Show & Tell: Technology, Data & Transparency...

On Day 4 the first session our team attended took us to The Co-Creation Hub in Yaba. The Co-Creation Hub is a creative space for techies and I.T. practitioners and entrepreneurs, and on Thursday the 21st of February the venue hosted the Show & Tell: Technology, Data & Transparency session where several websites and some gadgets were showcased. It was a great vibe and a great audience and here are some pictures. Enjoy!

  

Social Media Week, Lagos. Day 3: Billboard Music Day...

On day 3 at the B.I.T hub at the Porsche Center, all the workshops were centered around the global music industry and Billboard Music day. Some of the key note speakers on the day were Obi Asika, Colin Gayle, Briant Biggs and Chris Ubosi who all spoke on topics surrounding the evolution of international music and the revolution in Nigerian music.

Social Media Week, Lagos. Day 3: @WhatsupAfrica Video Blogger Workshop...

Also on Day 3 of Social Media Week, Ikenna Azuike founder of Whats up Africa (@whatsupafrica) hosted the Video Blogger Workshop - A fun, practical and interactive session on, well, Video Blogging. The session was a fun and insightful experience for all who attended as the lawyer-turned-broadcaster treated issues ranging from production and direction, content development, script writing and loads more.

The most exciting part was the final activity for the workshop where individuals were put in groups and were challenged to come up with concepts for different video blogs. A representative of each group would then come out and pitch the concept of his or her group's blog.

Social Media Week, Lagos Day 3: #SMW Lagos Live E.M.E All-Stars

In the evening on day 3 of Social Media, Week Banky. W, Skales, Shaydee, Niyola & Dj Xclusive shut it down at the M.A.C.E Hud with phenomenal performances. All I have to say is Dj Xclusive is a turntable genius and the E.M.E boyz really know how to please the ladies as you'll see in the pictures:). Also in attendance were celeb guests Flowsick, Young 6, Lynxx,  Praiz, Ebuka, @olorisupergal and the organizer of SMWLagos, Obi Asika. A big shout out to Nneka and the SMW M.A.C.E Hub crew & volunteers who threw ridiculous parties every night at that hub! Well done guys!
